Rules for Use:

These are not public courts. Only Arapahoe Lake Residents and Residents of other Subdivisions who have paid to join the Park District and their guests may use them. Lessons contracted by area residents are the only commercial use of the courts permitted.

If you need a key, call: Glenn Hackemer (303) 773-2789 The keys cannot be duplicated and should not be given to anyone who is not a Member, as defined above, and eligible to use the courts. $5 will be charged to replace lost keys.

HOURS: Daily, 6am - 10pm. The lights are turned on at a box on the North side of court 2 and go off automatically at 10pm.

MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS: Broken gate, blocks, whatever should be reported to: Glenn Hackemer, (303) 773-2789.

LEAGUES & LESSONS: Call Terry Boyle, (303) 744-6817. Information regarding registration will be included in the Registration packet passed out in April and in a monthly newsletter Terry produces called "The Court Reporter".

RESERVING A COURT: The reservation board is located on the north side of the courts with sign-up sheets for specific days.

COURTS 1, 2, & 3 can be reserved for two hours no more than 48 hours in advance. COURT 4, nearest the pool, is on a first-come, first serve basis. If others are waiting to play, you have to surrender the court on the hour.

PRIME TIME: After 5pm Monday through Friday, and on weekends, the tennis courts are in great demand. One household may reserve one court for no more than two hours during this period each day.

EXCEPTIONS: Occasionally, the Park District will hold a Tournament or will give permissions for one of the neighborhood teams to reserve all the courts for Volvo matches. Permission must be in writing.

COURT USE: Adults (18 and older) get priority on the courts on weekends, holidays, and after 5pm on weekdays. Only adults can reserve prime court time. If adults want to play and there are not other available courts, juniors have to surrender the court.

KEEPING THE COURTS CLEAN AND SAFE:

 1.   No glassware or food is permitted on the courts.
 2.   Please take all your trash with you when you leave.
 3.   Only children who are playing tennis may be on the courts.
 4.   Keep the gates closed and locked at all times! Don't jam rocks or anything else in the locks.
 5.   Each court has its own gate. Use the gate when when you enter the enclosure.
 6.   Please wait until there is a break in play before crossing a court that is in use.
 7.   Please wear tennis shoes on the courts.
